Incredible. What else can I say? An experience like this is hard to put into words.
When Heather messaged me about doing her birth photos, I knew it really meant a lot for her. With Hadlie being her third baby, she so badly wanted this experience documented, as she wasn’t able to with Winnie and Henry.
After over 2 days of labor, Hadlie finally made her very quick appearance into the world on July 3rd, 2020 at 3:19pm. Heather ROCKED her labor and had the greatest attitude about everything. I admired her so much for how in awe she was with the whole experience, as we all were. Quite possibly my absolute favorite photos from this whole day are when Henry and Winnie got to meet the baby and see mom. They were both over the MOON about her. Winnie especially was so excited to have a baby sister.
I want to give a huge shoutout to Midwife Terrie Lemley from Gentle Harbor Midwifery and also to Doula Morgan Heckaman from Maker Maternal Health. This team worked amazingly together for the perfect combination of a safe labor and moral support all the way through. I applaud you both for your personal, yet very professional service!
